You’re Wrong About Podcast

Michael Hobbes and Sarah Marshall are journalists intrigued by commonly mis-remembered people and events. They sit down once a week to reconsider and debunk all things miscast in the public imagination from the Satanic Panic and After School Specials to Tonya Harding and The Victims’ Rights Movement.

The podcast cover re-design is based on the original You’re Wrong About cover and all copy is pulled from the show. Text on social posts disapear to reveal the image underneath and mimic the work that Mike and Sarah do on the show, taking the mask off of these famous figures and events.

The new color palette was inspired by the 90’s (Mike + Sarah’s most referenced decade) and images appear in black and white halftone, a nod to the hosts’ backgrounds in journalism.

As a podcast, that opporates almost entirely on the internet, social media posts are a way to inform listeners of new episodes, interact with the audience, and advertise the show. The social campaign pieces are bright, punchy and use movement to stand out on the platforms that You’re Wrong about is active on.
